Chapter 213 Paying a visit.
Chapter 213 Paying a visit.
"I thought we are going to be attacked by them immediately the moment we broke the barrier, but why it feels so peaceful as before?" Aurea asked as she sat at the table in the middle of the sanctuary garden. "Do we have to approach them again? That's going to be tiring and dangerous," Aurea looked at Elena since she was the leader.
"No. I think it's better if we just wait here and I believe they will come to us sooner or later once they knew the whole situation," Elena answered as she stared down the pond with a school of koi fish inside.
"Do you think we have time to practice, boss? I don't believe that I'm strong enough because back then when I fought Astarte, I was overwhelmed by her strength alone," Sven asked and he looked troubled and disappointed in himself.
"Go. This might be the last chance you will be able to grow stronger," Elena nodded her head as she looked over her shoulder to look at Sven. "That also applies to all of you. If you wish to grow stronger, this is the final time," Elena looked at the other.
Amaryllis opened a portal so everyone could train inside the novel world, but before they could walk toward the portal, they felt a presence coming toward them. They all looked in the same direction, and then they saw Loki who seemed anxious which made everyone curious.
"You guys should start training now," Mykel said as he stared Loki in the eyes.
Everyone listened to Mykel's words and entered the portal without looking back. The ones who stayed were Beldathiel, Lyneth, Elena, and Mykel, the rest started their training, including Edith because she believed it was time for her to go back into action.
"What a beautiful place you got here," Loki said as she looked at the garden.
None of them responded to Loki's appreciation, and that only made her sigh and immediately sat with them.
"Your silence is only making me more anxious, Mykel," Loki said as she looked at Mykel. "The purpose of my visit is about my mother, and I think I have bad news for you," Loki continued.
"Laufey? What's the problem?" Mykel asked.
"Well, that's her male name, and it's better if you don't call her by that name. I think she prefers to be called Nal," Loki answered as she raised her eyebrows.
There was a bit of confusion about Loki's last name in mythology because Loki's last name was Laufeyson which meant son of Laufey. In Norse, they only used the father's last name, and nobody knew why Loki had her mother's name rather than her father's name. After listening to that, Mykel finally knew the truth and why she had Laufey as her last name rather than Farbauti.
"Anyway, that's not important. What's important is that she's with Lucifer right now," Loki pointed out as she looked at Mykel and Elena. "I don't know what she's planning to do, and I believe she's going to do something that would only make things complicated for you," Loki added.
"And why's that a problem?" Elena asked with her eyebrows raised and arms crossed. "We don't find it a problem because we are prepared to fight all of them in the first place," Elena pointed out.
"Toys? They're just food that is ready to harvest," Lucifer answered as he chuckled and looked at those six. "But the fact you stole one from me, it's really pissing me off right now," Lucifer said and looked at Mykel with a fake smile.
"I thought she was in your possession already, but looks like she's not here either," Mykel replied and looked back at Lucifer.
Lucifer furrowed his eyebrows and he looked confused by Mykel's words. He thought Mykel had brought her into his novel world, that was why he couldn't track her down. But after looking at Mykel's expression, he knew that Mykel wasn't lying.
"So you don't know? Looks like she made a fool of both of us then," Mykel pointed out as he pulled a cigarette from the pack. "I have been standing here for a while now. Aren't you going to let me in and have a seat?" Mykel asked with his eyebrows raised.
"Where are my manners?" Lucifer asked as he chuckled. "Please come in. I see that you have something interesting to tell," Lucifer smiled and pointed his hand at the entrance.
Mykel walked past Lucifer and when Loki was about to follow him inside, the Princes of Hell stopped her. Loki looked at them and the fact Mykel didn't try to help her was a bit disappointing, but then a woman tapped on Satan's shoulder.
"She's my daughter. Do you have a problem with her?" Nal asked and her gaze was enough to stab the back of Satan's head.
"Let her in. She came with Mykel, so she's our guest as well," Lucifer ordered.
Mykel glanced at Nal who had long legs and an incredibly alluring body that made her the most beautiful woman he had ever met. Nal then glanced at Mykel and smirked at him as she winked her eye and followed him from behind with Loki by her side.
Lucifer brought Mykel to a meeting room, and let him take a seat across his seat on the round table. All the Princes of Hell were sitting next to Lucifer and they had been oozing their intimidating and killing aura toward Mykel. Loki on the other hand, was sitting on the other side while Nal was sitting across her.
"So," Lucifer paused to grab a pack of cigarettes in his suit's pocket. "What do you mean by Sasha is fooling both of us?" Lucifer asked and realized he ran out of cigarettes.
"What would I get in return if I told you about it?" Mykel asked and tossed his pack of cigarettes at Lucifer.

Lucifer grabbed it and put a cigarette in his mouth. "That depends. Will you try to stop me again if I try to get her?" Lucifer asked and lit the cigarette as he passed the pack of cigarettes back to Mykel.
"No. You can have her," Mykel answered.
"Then I won't do any harm to you," Lucifer smirked and lit the cigarette in Mykel's mouth.
