Villain's Valor: A Noble Fantasy Resurrection

Chapter 264 Trauma

Chapter 264 Trauma

"That artifact, why is it broken?" Kalista asked, frowning. She remembered seeing the artifact, and it wasn't broken at all. Your crystal was completely smooth.

Atenea furrowed her brow. "It happened when the boy's parents died." Her hands rose to massage her temples. "It was our fault, we arrived too late," she said with a hint of regret. Kalista fell silent for a moment and nodded. She already knew what Atenea meant. Her eyes glanced back at the screens.

BOOOOMMM!

A horrible explosion echoed through the forest, accompanied by the awful smell of blood. The leaves of the trees changed color, and a terrible cry from some youths accompanied the explosion.

"You crazy bastards!" yelled a student with bloodshot eyes, watching helplessly as a cultist grabbed his girlfriend's body. He pulled off the cover and his skin, as white as snow, with eyes completely red, opened his mouth. In it were countless sharp teeth. The girl looked on in horror and tried to do everything she could to escape.@@@@

The cultist closed his mouth as he tore off a huge chunk of flesh from her shoulder. The girl screamed in pain as the man began to devour her alive, eating every part of her body and subjecting her to unimaginable agony. Huge amounts of blood fell to the ground, only to levitate back up and enter the cultist's bloodied mouth.

"Delicious! Young blood along with its tender meat is the most wonderful sensation I can have," exclaimed the cultist with great excitement. His eyes gleamed madly as he raised his hands and his body trembled violently.

"I'm going to kill you!" shouted the boy as he crawled with hatred in his eyes. His two legs were brutally torn off. The man stopped smiling and looked at the boy on the ground, looking at the pool of blood he left behind. He licked his lips. More people in robes like his emerged from the trees, white with bloodstains on them. Some even had some students' limbs as they ate them with devotion.

The air fell silent. The same space seemed to freeze. The students in the center looked with wide eyes as they began to merge with their classmates by their side. The flesh of their skin melted like butter. They screamed in horror, screamed in desperation. Some even tried to surrender.

After a few moments, the whole group of students lay on the ground, in a horrible mix of flesh, organs, and blood. The worst part was that some eyes closed and opened as if they were still alive. The ambient mana gathered and fell like a waterfall towards the huge mass of flesh.

Muffled screams echoed in the catacombs. The mass of flesh rose to form a huge being of flesh. From its deformed body came some limbs, even eyes that moved everywhere. It stood still, not knowing what to do.

"I guess it was to be expected," said Atenea resignedly, watching as the students fell like flies at the hands of those crazy bastards.

"It's horrible," said Cristal angrily as she clenched her fists in frustration. She still remembered the data that came to her office: it was the records of all the bastards who were in the dimension. All the cultists in the dimension are dead. They were killed years ago, but the records are always kept in the cult hunters' faculty.

Kalista, being the director, provided the data to make the event much like in real life.

The worst part was that she had to create them. She felt like vomiting as she read every bit of data about them with their respective personalities. She herself felt like killing them again. Closing her eyes, she tried to calm herself.

"Most of them will come out with traumas," Kalista said seriously, one thing was to die at the hands of the creatures and another very different at the hands of those crazy ones, the mental pressure is different, the creatures look like monsters, but the cultists although their physical form changed a little they still look human, everything counts even expressions and the way of speaking, creates a figure of fear and terror as if it came out of hell itself, which causes the minds of students not to react as they should.

"Don't worry about that, that's why we have the alchemist faculty," said Atenea as she shrugged indifferently.
