The Poseidon team has decided to make a move and it is completely within Sam's expectations. Now their team is divided into two squads. Each squad led by a strategist.
And the strategist one is leading his team to implement the next step in their new strategy. A team of seven under the lead of Strategist 1 came out of the city and they travelled through their space gate network to an active city nearest Nalvahan.
From there, they headed towards Nalvahan to check the state of that city first.
Nalvahan is an important part of their plan and they need it to be operating first. Sam who left his bird puppets in the surroundings of Nalvahan, immediately got this information along with the images.
He didn't make a move though. He waited for them to do a preliminary check on Nalvahan's formation from outside. He already knew they wouldn't find out anything and the result as per his expectations.
They went to see the second of the six cities. Or rather the city that no longer exists. The place in which the city previously was and was blown up by the Gambler team.
This situation was even more puzzling for them. They didn't even have anything to inspect here.
After that, they went to two more cities to check, the situation is similar to that of Nalvahan. After the basic testing was done, the strategist 1 decided to shoot in the dark and came up with a possible solution and that was also within Sam's expectations.
Strategist one picked one of the dispensable mercenaries and gave him a specially made token.
It has only one purpose. To hide a person from the defense and the surveillance of the formation. If one possesses this token, they can ignore all the defenses of the city and walk in and out like they own it.
It is not the same type of token used by their team before that prevented them from alerting the defense mechanism. This one offers complete concealment. Basically, for the formations of the city, the person wearing this token will be 'invisible'.
The mercenary was nervous going in.

The strategist 1 also became delighted by this.

He might have managed to figure out the first obstacle, but the second one proved to be much more difficult.

And this time, he managed to figure out the unknown runes that are attached to the nodes. His eyes lit up and he hurriedly removed them. Then he activated the formation core and left the city along with the team, only keeping the first mercenary inside.

The mercenary once again drowned in his own anxiety for forty five minutes before the strategist deemed that the formation is working fine.
He went back in, used the communication set up to contact the base and other cities to relay the new information.
Chetan and the team are confused, because they couldn't exactly see where the opening mentioned by Sam is. But Sam on the other hand smirked in delight.

"We got it? Where?"
Sam looked at the virtual map and pointed at the spot. The base and the team are stumped. They didn't understand how that is an opening.
Sam slowly placed a space gate and made shadow mice leave one after the other. In between each transfer he changed the coordinates. After they are sent, he modified the coordinates once again and made the team leave.
Sam followed them soon and all of them appeared at their destination.
The vicinity of the Poseidon team's base. In fact, they appeared a couple of miles away from the city and Sam calculated the coordinates accurately and gave them the tokens. "You should be able to land very close to the formation nodes of the city. I need you all to go there at the same time, deal with whatever security they have at the nodes and attack these
special tokens there.

you to be as swift as possible.

Sam said and he took off on the harbinger.
Chetan and the team hesitated for a moment, but they didn't think too much and decided to
trust Sam.
They crushed their transference tokens at the same time and disappeared from the spot. They all reappeared within the city and within a few feet from the nodes.
The team are stunned. They didn't expect this level of precision from Sam and they also noticed something else. They didn't trigger a single defense mechanism, except for the live
cultivators that have seen them.
They appeared as if the whole formation all those fancy pillars didn't exist.
The team members swiftly bypassed the people around them and attached the tokens into the
pillars.
The moment they did, some bug legs opened up from the token and they implanted themselves into the formation node.
The team crushed their return tokens and reappeared at the same spot as before.
Sam who is approaching the city, sensed their return and smiled.
He took out three cards from his storage along and his golden sun bloodline surged.
