The Zeus academy is in so much chaos that they didn't notice Jade was missing.
That was not their first priority anyway. The elders and instructors were deployed to catch the managers. At this moment....
Within a secret room created under a bar in the outskirts of the city.
Icarus and Ivar are sitting together. Their bodies are drenched in blood, even though it is not theirs. They had slights smiles on their faces as they looked at each other while looking through the contents of the spatial rings of the people they just killed.
"Can you imagine doing this a couple of months ago?"
Ivar asked and took out a wine bottle from one of the rings. He took a huge swig and passed it to Icarus.
"I certainly wouldn't have. After all, my goal was to demolish the Olympian academies, not to mindlessly kill a bunch of fourth graders. If that was all what I wanted to do, I would have done it by myself a long time ago."
"True that.
I am actually surprised that you even agreed to this.
Needless violence is so unlike you."
"How is this needless? If killing these disgusting creatures could destroy the academies, I would have done that a long time ago too. Since this is a part of a bigger plan, I don't have any qualms about it.
Anyway, my headcount clearly shows my commitment to the cause.

"I am only a four behind. Not forty. No need to make such lame accusations. Don't forget that I was the one who got you onboard with Sam in the first place."
"Whatever. Competence is what matters. Not the seniority in whose participating started first."
Icarus paused and stood up from his spot. He looked into the screen of his wristband. Ivar did the same before picking up his axe.
"They are here. This is going to be a tough one."
Ivar muttered and both of them jumped up high from their original spots.
*CRASH*
They broke through the ceiling of the room and entered the bar. A bunch of people were shocked at the sudden arrival in such a flashy way. More than ten fourth graders mostly of Zeus academy and a couple of them from other Olympian academies are standing there.
They just entered the room and were about to take their seats in the empty bar.
"What took you guys so long? We have been waiting for a while, you know."
Ivar said as his energy surged into his axe.
"What..."
It started resonating with the surrounding energy.
Energy overly emitting by the glove itself is condensed in the surroundings. Three more swirling fists condensed of pure Divine energy appeared on either side of Gawk while Icarus came at him from the front.
Gawk widened his eyes and...
*SWOOSH*
His body hurriedly turned into the shadow and disappeared into his own shadow. He slipped past the three fists.
*BAM*
The three fists collided at the spot creating an explosion.
Gawk who was just inside the shadow, felt the tremendous shockwaves from that explosion. He hurriedly moved past and just when he was about to come out...

The large axe condensed purely out of energy was being swung at him at an incredible pace.
The axe head brushed past his head cutting off a few strands of his hair.
*BAM* *CRASH*
The axe landed on the road, destroying everything within a few hundred meters radius, collapsing every single structure that there is and successfully built up a gripping fear in the heart of Gawk.
Right now Gawk was stunned beyond belief. He couldn't comprehened, why there was such an artifact that could amplify one's power so much was not snatched by anyone yet.
That's right, he doesn't even care about the mission that he had. To capture these two.
His focus was shifted to the gloves that they had on.
Icarus felt his glove's glow is reducing a bit by bit.
That is to be expected. After all, it is not a long term use tool. It is an expendable thing. No matter how advanced that person in terms of cultivation or how advanced the technology behind that glove was... it was made to be an expendable for the fights like this.
Sam used the resonance tech he hasn't used in a while to create these gloves for the managers. They are now part of a new series of weapons and equipment that he is researching.
These gloves carry a lot of energy in the form of the special energy cells that Sam created using the mechanisms of the hub. It is very similar to the artificial spiritual energy core that he created to rebuild Stone's body.
The energy stored in each cell was obtained from the elders and instructors of the academies. The energy is now being used as not just the power resource, it also provides the mechanism to achieve the resonance as well.
Since the resonance attacks need the surrounding atmosphere, Sam decided to make some tweaks.
The energy cell will provide that energy and also increases the speed of the resonance process.. When an attack is made, the mechanism inside will be triggered. It will discharge the energy and make it condense together.
The discharged energy will be subjected to resonance.
The attack they made will be replicated because of the resonance affect and voila, multiple attacks at the same time. The only drawback is that they are not strong enough and they cannot mask the backlash for using high level items.
