Chapter 1185: Alakazam’s Riot and Awakening

Chapter 1185: Alakazam's Riot and AwakeningYuga was busy for over a week without results, so he chose to returned to Verdanturf Town. After all, he was just a Gym Leader, not a detective, and capturing dark organizations wasn't really his job. He'd already gone above and beyond by helping as much as he did.

The battle of the six legendary Pokémon at sea was kept strictly confidential by the League, so the public remained unaware. Everyone at YoYo Day Care only knew that Yuga had a secret mission outside, but the specifics were unknown.

"Hey, Gym Leader Shimizu is back! I haven't seen you in days!"

"Yes, it's been a while! I returned as soon as I finished up."

...

After a week of not appearing in the shop, Yuga returned to the old store in the morning after making Pokéblocks with Misaki and the others at the new store. The regular customers greeted him enthusiastically.

After helping Suzuki Koen and Ayaka in the store for a while, Yuga went upstairs to Windy's office. He felt it was time to list some new Pokémon in the shop, especially as the system's main mission deadline was approaching.

While there was no penalty for failing the mission, missing out on the rewards would be a shame!

After discussing with Windy for a while, Yuga decided to list three types of Pokémon for sale: Buneary, Ekans/Seviper, and Amaura.

The Buneary population had been in the Ecopark for some time, and through intermarriage with the Medicham, their numbers had gradually reached a sustainable level for sales.

Ekans and Seviper would be listed as one Pokémon type; they lived together, interbred, and had similar market prices, so selling them together wasn't an issue, especially since their population was still too small to sell separately.

Although the Amaura had only recently come to the Ecopark, their numbers were naturally large. Most of then were at the prime breeding age, with high overall species potential, so they reproduced quickly, with a higher probability of producing high potential offspring compared to other species.

Yuga set a limit of one Buneary and one Ekans/Seviper per month, while Amaura would be sold every two months.

Both Buneary and Ekans/Seviper were relatively common species, so their prices were affordable; however, Amaura was rare and very expensive, almost on par with the market price of Ralts or Riolu.

With the advent of fossil revival devices, fossil Pokémon in trainers' hands were no longer rare, but the fossils themselves remained limited in supply, and the revived species were usually Omanyte, Kabuto, Lileep, and common fossil Pokémon.

Because of this, rarer or more powerful fossil species like Aerodactyl, Amaura, Tyrunt, and Archen were far more expensive than common fossil Pokémon, and finding high-potential specimens of these rare fossil Pokémon was even more challenging.

Currently, most revived Amaura and Aurorus lived in major re

Connected to Alakazam's psychic power, Gothitelle suddenly felt her own psychic abilities awaken. She could now effortlessly control her psychic energy and even sense Alakazam's consciousness.

Alakazam wanted to awaken and move freely, but the overwhelming pressure of its own psychic power caused it immense pain, which was why the psychic storm had erupted.

Gothitelle slowly extended a hand, her gaze fixed on Alakazam. Under her control, Alakazam floated gently toward her.

Seeing this, Yuga quickly signaled Gengar and the others to hold back.

Gothitelle embraced Alakazam slowly, pressing her forehead gently against his. Alakazam didn't resist; instead, the violent psychic energy radiating from it gradually softened.

After an unknown length of time, Alakazam's psychic outburst fully subsided. It slowly opened its eyes, meeting Gothitelle's gentle gaze as their foreheads rested together.

Gothitelle's eyes held a calming warmth, as if assuring Alakazam that everything was all right, that the storm had passed.

The psychic connection between Alakazam and Gothitelle did not break. Every glance, every movement, was effortlessly understood by the other, as they had truly achieved a perfect harmony of heart and mind.
