Chapter 400 - 319: Dominic Blue Dragon Family, Mother and Son Reunited (Part 2)
After a period of rest and recovery, Galos had completely regained his peak form.
Beneath the steel-forged Dragon Scale was an amount of muscle mass and bone density that was terrifyingly unrivaled by any Giant Dragon of similar size.
Even the famed Red Dragon, known for its strength, would look weak in comparison standing face to face with Galos and might even feel a twinge of shame.
Needless to say, these ’slender and fragile’ Scorpion-tailed Lions paled in comparison.
Their once fierce and violent gaze cleared significantly once they beheld the mountain-like physique of the Red Iron Dragon.
"This place belongs to the great Steel Queen—Lady Letitia!"
The Scorpion-tailed Lion leader braced himself and shouted in a somewhat stiff Dragon Language, first invoking their Dragon Lord’s title, trying to intimidate the other: "Strange Giant Dragon! Without clear permission from the Steel Queen, please immediately leave this place!"
Its voice struggled to maintain strength, but the underlying tremor revealed inner tension.
Returning to his old haunt, Galos was rather pleased, so he patiently replied in a deep voice: "Go tell your queen—her once offspring has now grown into a powerful entity and has come today for a visit."
Upon hearing this, the Scorpion-tailed Lion leader’s massive humanoid face showed obvious suspicion.
Although its intelligence wasn’t high, it had basic judgment capabilities.
The actual size of the Giant Dragon before it, though possibly slightly shorter in length than the Steel Queen,
was visually more overwhelming and weightier, with its thick, mountain-like, muscle-bound form clad in layers of metal Scale Armor and scary spikes, even beyond its impression of the queen.
Such a large offspring?
What a joke!
When did the queen have an offspring of such ridiculous size?
However... it flared its nostrils, sniffing the air carefully, indeed catching a faint whiff of bloodline scent akin to the Iron Dragon Lord from the other.
Considering that even if they gathered the entire Scorpion-tailed Lion pack along with other Followers in the territory, they probably couldn’t stop the nightmare before them, the Scorpion-tailed Lion leader finally lowered its head slightly, and its tone eased considerably.
It said, "Mighty Giant Dragon, Her Majesty the Queen is not within the territory at the moment, so please return later."
I see.
Galos understood inwardly.
No wonder his Long Wei had long been unleashed, and the Iron Dragon Lady did not respond.
She wasn’t home.
"No matter."
Galos’s voice was calm: "I will wait here for her return."
After finishing, he ignored the Scorpion-tailed Lion pack, his enormous Dragon Wings flapped again as he directly descended into the inner region of the Celestial Pit Territory.
The Scorpion-tailed Lion leader opened its mouth, seemingly wanting to stop him with words.
But as the words reached its mouth, looking at the colossal back utterly beyond its capabilities, it ultimately had to swallow them back down.
For now, it could only anxiously monitor, waiting for the Dragon Lord to return swiftly.
Soon, under the tense and guarded gazes of many Followers, Galos strolled through the Celestial Pit Territory like a returning king.
He passed by the clear lake where he used to train his lung capacity by submerging for long periods in his youth, crossed the training ground made particularly solid from endless ’mountain and land’ exercises day after day, went through the mining area where he once forced Brother Long and Dragon Lady to laboriously excavate ore... ultimately, he halted near the massive Dragon’s Nest deep within the pit wall belonging to Iron Dragon Lady.
Over fifty years have passed.
The Celestial Pit Territory had inevitably undergone many changes, with vegetation turnover, waterway redirection, mine expansion, Follower changes... adding new marks and blurring some old memories.
Galos himself had also changed significantly, no longer the fledgling dragon he once was.
"I wonder, after so long apart, what kind of gaze Iron Dragon Lady will view me with upon seeing me again."
Curiosity and anticipation involuntarily arose in his heart.
Meanwhile, he was not idle, engaging in what he considered relatively simple warm-up exercises.
However.
Every action triggered violent air currents and ground tremors, which made the surrounding vigilant Followers supervising him reel with alarm and grow even more tense.
At the same time.
In a distant region of the Sel Wilderness—Steep Stone Highlands.
A Blue Dragon with a huge body, covered in dark blue scales, with dangerous sparks occasionally leaping between the Scale Armor gaps, stood like a statue on the edge of a cliff.
The Blue Dragon gazed at the stable-mannered Iron Dragon before it, its voice rolling like thunder.
"The Dominic Family never provokes formidable foes without cause, nor do we engage in anything that bears no profit or advantage—this is our survival strategy."
Opposite was Iron Dragon Letitia, with scales as well-forged as black plate armor, emanating the aura of toughness and Power.
"I understand your principles."
Letitia said earnestly: "But no dragon understands the true nature of Gorsas, that madman, better than I do!"
"As long as he coexists in this wilderness with your Dominic Family,"
"Sooner or later, he will turn his greedy and violent gaze toward your territory, your treasures, your Followers."
"Passively waiting is like sleeping beside a volcano; you never know when the eruptive lava will bring destruction."
"Rather than that, we might as well take the initiative! While we still have the advantage of Power and information, let us unite and eradicate this looming deadly threat entirely."
