Chapter 362 : Invitation
Chapter 362 : Invitation
The next Day...
Lucas was coming back to his apartment room.
Today was as always stressed full day.
At 5:00 a.m. he has private training session with Yato and 7 to 2 was normal academy classes after that was special Training Program.
The special Training Program went up to 6 of the evening and after that we were allowed to leave.
Then there was Ella requested mission that she did make to our mercenary group.
We have completed her request but I still didn't receive an reply from her after the conference message i just send.
'The fuck my life has become.'
I been busy constantly and need some rest but sadly that is not possible.
Anyway, Let's get some rest.
Clank —!
I opened the door and stepped inside, at that moment I saw the something on the floor near my doorstep.
Frowing, I picked it up and immediately my eyes widened in suprised.
He was stunned with his jaw wide open unable to process the image he saw.
His hand trembled to see the sender of the letter.
The side of the envelopes was etched in gold and the stamp placed on the letter was the royal insignia, the symbol used by the royals.
Holding the letter with his trembling hands, he went inside the room.
After all Seraphina look is heaven-defying.
Although Lucas was able to maintain his composure at the auditorium. he didn't know if he can maintain his calmness seeing her standing before him.
Even if he was not someone who lust over girls. He can't guarantee that he will be able to look at her with neutral eyes.
Lucas paced around his room, anxiety and curiosity warring within him. He couldn't ignore the significance of this invitation, nor could he predict the outcome of such an unprecedented meeting.
"Why me?" he muttered, glancing at the letter once more. "What could she possibly want?"
He knew that declining the invitation wasn't an option. Ignoring the Student Council President's request could have severe repercussions. Besides, this could be an opportunity to gain insight into Seraphina's intentions and perhaps even leverage the meeting to his advantage.
Lucas sighed, resigned to his fate. He checked the time and noted that the tea ceremony was scheduled for 4 p.m. the following day. That left him with little time to prepare and even less time to calm his nerves.
He decided to go to bed early, hoping a good night's sleep would clear his mind and help him face the challenges ahead. However, sleep didn't come easily. Thoughts of Seraphina, the Student Council, and the possible reasons for the invitation kept swirling in his mind.
The next day, Lucas went through his morning training and classes with a distracted air. His thoughts continually drifted to the upcoming meeting, making it difficult to focus on anything else. Even Yato noticed his unusual demeanor but chose not to comment, understanding that Lucas was likely dealing with something significant.
As the clock ticked closer to 4 p.m., Lucas headed back to his apartment to freshen up and change into something more appropriate for the occasion. He opted for a simple yet elegant outfit, hoping to strike a balance between casual and respectful.
After seeing that he was ready, Lucas steeped out of the room and headed towards the place where he was invited by Seraphina.
On the way, he racked his brain as he remembered the contains of his novel and about Seraphina.
Seraphina is the only daughter of Elf queen, the real Identity of Seraphina is hidden away from the rest of world, aside from very top officials and few who were close to Seraphina.
For example her only three friends who were in acutely her maid in disguise.
Seraphina treats everybody coldly regardless of thier identity unless she knows someone. She can be said to be a ruthless type who shows no mercy towards her enemies.
She doesn't like males due to an incident in his childhood. Due to her beauty everywhere she goes, she draws attention and gets the lecherous looks of the man and since then she had developed a hating personality towards men.
That's why, Lucas was shocked someone like her invited him to tea, even if he hadn't known her.
