Chapter 576: The Proposal
Chapter 576: The Proposal
The People watching were confused as to what was going on.
"Is he... proposing to her?" The little boy, mich spoke up, and the eyes of the people shone in realization. Soon, the entire crowd was clapping, applauding them.
Meanwhile, Momoh was confused as to what was going on. "Proposal!?" Her rabbit eyes widened in surprise. However, she never stopped holding tight his head to her waist.
A few minutes later, Dylan found himself pulling a lot of fish and other sea gifts on a wheel barrow back to the orphanage. The news had quickly spread and the people of the town had showered them with gifts and well wishes.
For Dylan it was a really embarrassing moment. What had been an outburst of pent up emotions had somehow become a marriage proposal. However, he did not refuse the gifts.
After all, he did have plans of spending the rest of his life with her.
On getting back to the orphanage, Mich immediately rushed to tell the other children the good news, and soon, there was a small celebration.
After all, both Mich and especially Momoh were quite loved.
Before they knew it, the kids had done a mini campfire outside the orphange, donning their best clothes as they celebrated roasting the fish and other meat that the town’s people had gifted.
Momoh and Dylan were left cheering and laughing at a makeshift throne for the two of them.
Dylan found himself laughing, and he was actually happy. Everything that had happened until this point just did not matter anymore.
No! It felt like a dream. Yes! It was all a dream, a terrible nightmare. One that had not happened. Yes, it had not happened.
Momoh had a cheerful smile on her face. Under the twin moons, her glow was excellent. this was her. His woman, loved in all her beauty, and grace. through her in perfection, she was perfect.
As he stared at her, Dylan could not beat back the urge to cup her face in his hand.@@@@
Dylan shook his head, "I think I might need to lie down a bit."
Momoh smiled at him, "I understand. After all, you had to attend to a lot of the Town’s folks today." In saying this, she leaned in, pulling his head to her bossom.
Her softness enveloped him as his head was forced in between her chest.
A smile stained his lips, and he subconsciously dug his head even deeper into her chest.
However, just then, the kids turned to them. "Wooow!!!" Their curious eyes shone with interest at the two.
And Momoh’s cheeks flushed in embarrassment as she pushed him away. Dylan chuckled at this. After all, Momoh was that kind of person.
He teased her a bit. And she stood up and ran inside the house.
Dylan chuckled some more, and decided to spend some more time with the kids. That hatred that had suddenly appeared had disappeared just as fast as it had appeared.
Soon it was time to sleep, and Dylan helped the children to their rooms. As he put Mich to sleep, the little boy held his arm, "Dylan, you will never leave us, right?"
Dylan nodded, "I won’t. I’ll stay here, with you, forever! Besides, I am still going to Marry Momoh!" he teased as he tickled the young boy.
Mich laughed and then just when Dylan stood up to leave, mich voiced out, "I love you Dylan, I wish you were my dad instead!"
Those words cut deep into Dylan’s heart. After all, Dylan had been the one that had truly killed the boy’s father. And he could not help but nod back at Mich. After all, what if this was the way it was meant to be. What if this was fate telling him that he was supposed to be here, as Mich’s dad and Momoh’s husband.
Regardless of whta had happened in the past, the thought was an incredible one to behold.
Dylan blew out the candles in the room and then he went to his. On entering the room, he was met with a very peculiar sight. It was of Momoh wearing little to no clothes....
