Zi was still smiling at him as he came closer, and so was chiron.

Chiron was fast, Stabbing right into her chest.

Carla was taken back by what was going on, but she held herself from interfering.

Zi coughed up some blood, and then some again. She looked at the blade, surprised marked on her delicate face.

However, Chiron suddenly felt an attack come from behind him and he made a jump in the air, dodging the swipe that had come from the Beast core spider.

This was an attack from the undead core beast that she had been riding.

Chiron landed on the ground with a very peculiar look on his face. "I missed your heart!" he muttered.

Zi on the other hand chuckled lowly, "Oh, you were close. I was warned that when it came to you, I should take certain safety measures, and so I hide it somewhere." she wiped the side of her lips.

"Somewhere?" Chiron thought to himself. "So you are that kind of demon." He thought out loud.

Zi stood upright, the wound on her chest still there, but she had stopped bleeding.

Clearly, she might even begin to heal up soon.

After all, it involved a transfer of power in such a manner that it is absorbed and filtered through the pain and sacrifice of the soul and only then would a demon be made.

After eating the half Elf’s body at best, Zi was entitled to the worse pain of her entire life.

This was pain that destroyed both her physical body and her soul.

Therefore, Chiron was right. She had gotten help, and considering the fact that the Holy church had done a quick clean up on the devils in the area of the Chikitsa clan, and were at odds with demons, Chiron could only think of one person with that kind of knowledge necessary to create a demon.

"It was the old dragon wasn’t it!? I bet that precious land spirit helped you with the necessary runes to turn you. What’s more, you probably did it for the blood oath condition to end my life. Is that not true?"

Zi suddenly broke into wild laughter, "Incredible! You are just too incredible. And here I was thinking i will be able to make the first move while you are sleeping or something. But you... you are just too much." Her smile suddenly froze as she waved her hands and then Blue Beast cores fell from her hands like little rain drops.

As they did, each beast core morphed and twisted, forming huge core beasts of different types. Each one had a black that enveloped their entire eyes.

"It is true that the Old Dragon under the Clan chief’s manor is responsible for my demon nature. he even sheltered me in the precious land against the Holy church. But believe me, Chiron I love you... I truly do. It’s just that..."

"The Pain that day was too intense..." Chiron interrupted her, "...And at the point of death, you would give anything or in this case any one for you chance at life."

"Ding! Ding!! Ding!!! You got that right. The contract with the old Dragon was a simple one. I get life as long as I kill you by my own hands. And that was why I rushed here immediately when I overheard those people from the holy church planning to kill you. If you die by the hands of another person, it would not be good for me. It will void my contract and I do not want that to happen."

Her eyes got brighter as she waved her hands for the twenty core beasts to attack, "So my love, why don’t you die for me! I promise, once the conditions of the contract is fulfilled, I’ll bring you back, as an undead slave and we can live Happily Ever After!"
