Chapter 1258 Will They Keep Their Promise?
Chapter 1258 Will They Keep Their Promise?
-----
As Titania Constantly imbued her powers into her army and enhanced their abilities, she widened her eyes, sensing a powerful presence very familiar to one in the past suddenly emerge.
However, it was strange, despite holding the same type of energy, it had been strangely twisted and merged directly with Spirit Energies, giving birth to a completely unique, yet bizarre entity.
"W-What is the meaning of this?!" she gasped. "Where did this thing came from- Wait, don't tell me!"
She ran across the throne room, reaching the windows and then flying into the skies looking at the giant Yggdrasil Tree, Planta's dormant, true body.
In there, she noticed that a certain branch that held a black fruit she had been watching over this entire time... had changed.
There was no fruit there anymore.
"Wait... what?! When did he...?"
She looked everywhere, expanding her senses, suddenly noticing a few hundred meters from the castle a huge black fruit.
What should have been a fruit full of pulp and juice was mostly dry and empty inside, as if something had eaten everything as a way to sustain itself before...
Breaking from it, as if it were an egg rather than some fruit.
"That's... since when did he...?"
Titania sighed, recalling what Planta had told her.
"He will pay for everything he has done once he finally wakes up, and is fully reborn through my powers," she said to Titania. "So, once that happens, don't get worried and calm down. He might be a bit mysterious, but he's actually someone that only wants to be loved... I'll guide him to the right path."
"She said I shouldn't worry but..." Titania sighed, looking at the tree. "Will he really keep his promise, Planta?"
As Titana returned to her castle, above the skies, a group of dozens of Bone Wyverns and Phantasmal Specters rushed into the forest, attempting to ignore the walls altogether.
Perhaps in the medieval times of Earth where there were no magic or flighted mounts, something like huge walls would have served to protect a territory.
However, this was a fantasy world, Arcadia, and therefore, winged monsters even more intelligent ones or tamed creatures, were commonplace.
Even more, people that could fly was also very common!
Therefore, walls alone would never truly protect a territory or a kingdom.
And this weakness was what Gaston, Silvera, and Elios wanted to exploit.
"Hahaha! They are wide open in the skies!" laughed Gaston, riding a huge bone wyvern made of black bones and covered on phantasmal flames. "Let's rush directly to the castle!"
FLUOSH!
They covered a section of the magic shield with a black cloud of cursed energies, rapidly making it consume the magic shield and weaken it considerably!
"Now, attack again!"
Gaston smiled as the wyverns attacked once more, bombarding the magic shield with destructive explosive breath attacks.
This time, however, the magic shield gained cracks, and many of them all over its surface!
Crack, crack...!
CRACK!
As the cracks continued to spread through the magic shield, Gaston, smiled, leaping out of the wyvern and swinging his giant blade against it.
"I'll break this shit open and get in!"
CRAAASH!
His sword attack unleashed an eruption of Mana and Energies, spreading the cracks even further until small pieces of the magic shield fell like glass.
A wicked smile surged in the player's face, as he raised his sword again and was about to swing it once more.
"KNOCK KNOCK, MOTHERFUCKER!"
However, in that very moment...
TRUUUM!
A wave of black sludge reached him, wrapping around his body and suddenly stealing his sword.
"W-Wha...?!"
It was so fast and precise that he couldn't even prevent it!
"I'll be taking this."
The voice of a young boy echoed from above Gaston.
"Huh? A damn fairy?!"
