The other idiot looked at me, clearly unsure of what he should do since he already knew he couldn’t beat either me or the Marchioness with his sword skills as proven by our sparring matches earlier.
Unerolia seemed to have seen that hesitation from the Off-Worlder because she immediately pulled out another wooden sword from god knows where and lunged towards him.
"Match has started! Let’s go!" She yelled, giving the Off-Worlder enough time to react by lifting his sword to parry the blow away.
"Ohhh! The real Aster could parry that strike of mine too! Looks like there’s a chance you could be the real one!" She chuckled.
I could tell that she was simply buttering him up just to give him a false sense of hope that he could actually pull through with this lie of his.
Perhaps he thought that if he were to just do well enough, he might somehow shift the suspicion on to me and then get the others to kill or detain me while he runs away during the scuffle.

I didn’t really have time to think about anything else anymore since Unerolia then lunged at me as well, prompting me to execute the same move as what the Off-Worlder did in order to parry her.
"Oh! So you managed to parry that too? That was so awesome! So that means I don’t need to hold back anymore, right?! Let’s do this, then!!"
No, no... You still need to hold back, Unerolia... You need to remember that--
With me in the air, I was able to get a good view of Unerolia leaping towards the other Off-Worlder with her sword held horizontally by her side.
The idiot was clearly panicking as he took a few steps back to try and avoid her but obviously he wasn’t going to escape her like that.
As I had expected, the Marchioness easily caught up with that idiot and her sword glowed once more as she activated her Valour skill.
"[Full Burst Swing]!!"
Her sword became an arc of light as she swung it towards the idiot, who only just managed to raise his own sword in time to defend himself.
The moment Unerolia’s sword hit his wooden blade, a loud bang could be heard right as the idiot was sent flying back from the blow.
Unlike me who got sent up into the air, he was sent flying directly towards the arena wall, hitting his back on it with a loud crash.
The Marchioness then looked up and grinned at me, clearly showing that the difference in treatment was clearly on purpose, right before she gestured for me to come at her again.
I tucked my wings and dove towards her, my sword held in a thrusting motion as if I was preparing to lunge it at her.
She lifted her sword parallel to her body, preparing to defend against my strike.
As I neared her, I saw her arm twitch which prompted me to flare my wings to stall my descent, buffeting her with a gale of wind.
Then while she was distracted by my sudden shift in position, I swung my hips towards her which allowed my tail to lash out from underneath my skirt to strike against her side.
She totally did not see that coming to that so my attack managed to connect to send her skidding to the side.
She recovered quickly and swung her sword down at me, only to stop suddenly to turn back and parry an attempted sneak attack from the idiot.
"Ahahaha! That’s it! That’s it!! This is what I want!!" She laughed, not even phased that she was being tag teamed right now. "Come at me with all you’ve got!"
She lifted her foot and kicked the idiot in the abdomen, sending him skidding a few steps back.
The Marchioness then spun back around to parry my overhead slash which she then shifted to deliver a horizontal slash at my side.
I spun myself out of the way, creating distance between us but Unerolia was having none of that as she lunged at me with her sword pointed at my chest.
I had to flap my wings to boost me further away from her, narrowly avoiding her sword which also brought me to stand side by side with the other Off-Worlder.
Unerolia laughed again, "That’s it! Come at me seriously! Let’s do this!!"
Her sword suddenly burst into flames and I don’t think she remembers that we were supposed to be torturing that Off-Worlder anymore...
He turned to look at me, "Is this really happening right now?"
"You caused this you idiot," I shot back at my doppelganger. "So shut up and fight."
Guess I really need to take this seriously then...
